I like the DM native scoring.

When I run my own custom gamemode I don't get any scoring. Does anyone know either:

a) How to get DM scoring and visuals in a custom game
b) Interact with the score board using sourcemod and I'll make my own custom scoring system. If I could do this I could open up a whole world of opportunities for varying my gamemodes

The dm score is available only in deathmatch gamemode. You can change the score by using:
