If i'm not mistaken, i only update gamedata, bin, and extension folders i presume and i update anything else if i get errors. O_o

I believe it has always done that, just use fake email addresses.

I believe it's intentional. The reason being that you may require admins to login at least once into the sourcebans installation to get their admin in-game. So they would need a password and email. I just give them a "fake" email at my domain along with a random password that I won't ever remember.

Hi there

I've downloaded the install package and uploaded it but I cant find a config.php to CHMOD to 777, I just see a config.php.template - do I rename that to config.php, then do CHMOD 777 ?

Just wanted clarification on that, thanks.

The installer creates that file for you, so first run the installer. If it fails to create the config.php you have to create an empty textfile named config.php and set chmod 777 on that one and rerun the installer or just use the config.php.template and insert the database info again manually.
