No. Survivors literally appear from air when players connecting, unless all 10 connected. Use L4DToolz ftw + unblock "survivor and zombies limits cvars"' upper bounds.

Any progress on nobots and adding bots on the fly if needed? Would be perfect if it only allowed humans to fill spots as needed. Thanks.

I added to no bots but not the adding them on the fly. I only tested it to make sure it limited them to four. The OP has been updated.

It's still spawning the extra bot on my end (coop mode, and I am running 5 slots) other than that it's a really spiffy plugin, love it.
Update: I think it just happens if when there are 2 people on the server (or more) and 1 happens to type spectate (which won't happen in normal circumstance. My bad). Kudos to your plugin, it's great!

Do you mean a CVAR to disable the auto spawning of shotguns? If so then yes I could but I don't see a reason to as I made it spawn them purposely so the bots would not take all the weapons. The problem is there are only so map weapons at the beginning of the map and what would happen is the bots would take all of either the shotgun or SMG. By giving them shotguns when they spawn, there will no longer be a shortage of weapons.

Like I said, I see no reason to add that. It's not like its spawning M4's or other higher weapons. The only thing that I would change is add a CVAR to choose either shotguns or SMG's.
