unsing the ragdoll is easy, look into my post like a year ago on this thread, the code to do it is there.

Hello, i have little problem w Model Manager.
smx, phrases, cfg is correct.

I installed Download Manager to download all models and materials.
I didn't make .ced

Models and materials is downloaded.
On tf_models_reload: found 9 models.

I still don't see models

you need to have the .dep file for it to work

demo.mdl.dep like that

plus I see now there as a players model as in same path and the reg model would be not sure if it works for that.

Errol: that warning's generated if the version cvar from the config is setting the version to be an older version than the plugin's current version.
friagram: nobody's going to go digging through this 1039-post thread for the ragdoll fix. I know how to do it and it'll probably be in the next update.

Progress on MDLEditor (or whatever I'll end up calling it) is... uh... proceeding?... kinda slowly, but mainly because I'm focusing on the UI first rather than the MDL hex-editing stuff, and I haven't really done UI in Tk before.

Good to hear someone is working on this....in the meantime do you or anyone else know of a good tutorial for hexxing models?

[strike]Anybody have this issue that since today's TF2 update,... hats that were previously working with various custom models ... all of a sudden aren't showing? If I de-equip and go back to stock/built-in model, then the hat shows properly - just not for custom models.[/strike]

Update: Nevermind, updated to latest snap-shot (I was running a very old SM version) and restarted the server. Not sure which fixed it, but it seems fine now.

Hi, I'm having a problem with the admin flags for custom models that I have on my server.

That is just a piece of my tf2_modelist.cfg. I am trying to make it so only my donators, admins, and mods can only use the model, but everyone in the server has access to it. In my overrides.cfg file I have "sm_mm" and "!mm" set to the "o" flag just in case as well.

I believe "admin" should be a list of overrides, not admin flags.

My Model works for me, but it seems that no one is downloading the files.

sv_allowdownload 1
sv_pure 0

Still it downloads the files only on my client but not on a second ._.

Should i put the in the materials and models folder or in the custom folder on the server?


EDIT:

Ok models and texture gets downloaded, but the texture does not work ._.

nvm. it seems like it wasn't the right texture.

That fixed it, thanks. I found another problem out now. I've realized that people and myself are always redownloading some of my models every time they connect to my server, but it is only certain models, not all of them.
