[Windows 98]

I swear to god, I followed all the installation instructions from the wiki's and everything. I even documented this (because I have tried multiple times) and I assumed it would be best to show you all what I am doing maybe you can help me fix it.

What I am doing:

Downloading MetaMod:

Extracted files from the .zip I just downloaded for MetaMod:

Go to my "mod folder" on my FTP - for me I guess it is cstrike:

Go into my addons folder:

Make a folder called "metamod":

Make a folder inside of metamod called "bin":

Make my "metaplugins.ini" file:

Upload my server.dll and metaplugins.ini to their proper locations on the FTP:

Change the gameinfo.txt on my server to look like this:

Download SourceMod:

Extract the files from the .zip I just downloaded of SourceMod:

Upload those extracted SourceMod files to my server:

Took my metapluins.ini from the server and put it on my computer again. Opened it up and editted it to look like this:

Save and upload it back to my FTP:

Download CS:S DM 2.0:

Extract the files out of the CS:SDM2.0 .zip I just downloaded:

Then upload those files to my cstrike on my FTP:

After all of this it is still not working and I have no idea why. Can anyone help me out here?

Ok apparently that image hosting site does not allow linking? If you want i can upload them to ************** but it was down the first time I tried. You can still read what i was doing.


EDIT: Actually if you copy the link I posted (NOT CLICK) and paste it in another tab/window you can see the image. Do that.

The server is a Linux server, so you have to upload the Linux binaries

Can you explain to me what I need to do for a linux server then please? I would appreciate that.

Use the other binaries. The binaries will end in .so

Is there a linux MetaMod and SourceMod too that I need install? Or am I just completely retarded and that's what your talking about in the first place. Because I am internet inept and cannot find any download links to anything linux version (I see some linux things but I am assuming those are peopel running linux on their local computers because linux uses different files to package the actual files?)
