You can add a HUD text when your click is on a spray to see who make that spray?

This will take me a little bit of time - I need to convert the plugin from using ClientPrefs dB to a SQL dB.. . I like the idea, just have to rewrite some of the code.

You could use my plugin in conjunction with Spray Tracer, but I'll go ahead and implement some of that code into mine with a CVar to turn it on/off in case you're running both (no need to have traces running for the same purpose).

Give this version a shot... thanks to berni for SMLib and author(s) of Spray Tracer for some code copy.

This version restricts players/admins with access to command AllowSprayTrace and/or has the CUSTOM4 flag. Use the override system to grant all users the ability to see the spray data.

I'll update the actual plugin if everything checks out ok - I'll also add the messages to the translation file

Sorry to make another request, but would it be possible to have a command to just remove someone's spray? Sometimes, a user is warned and they apologize, at which point I want to remove the spray but not block them from spraying in the future.

I know that Spray Tracer has that, but it only works if you're ingame looking at a spray, rather than letting you target it using their name. I'd requested it a few times in that thread long ago, but I was always told it was "impossible", but you've clearly managed it just fine.

edit: I see you were the one who had been making edits to Spray Tracer before making this thread, as well. If you're more comfortable with doing so, you could potentially just change the removespray command in that plugin to accept an argument and implement the new spray removal code there instead

There is already a plugin that allows you to block sprays remotely.

With some quick modding you can also have it remove them and punish players that are ingame as well. As well as block sprays while in game.

That sure is a lot to go through just for one feature... I think I'll stick with the track I was on

I don't mean remotely like on the web, I mean remotely like "without being in front of their spray" or "rcon" or "SourceIRC"

Unfortunately the backend of that requires some specific setup to work, which has prevented some development and use.

Oh well, biggest payoffs usualy require the most effort, right?
