    TF2 Teleport Tools

    Description:
    You will be able to change the time it takes to a teleport to recharge

    Idea:
    For those 32player / dustbowl only maps, so blue can attack more often.

    Cvars
    • sm_tele_on (Default: 1) - Enable/Disable teleport manager
    • sm_teleblue_time (Default: 0.3) - Amount of time for blue tele to recharge, (Valve default: 10.0)
    • sm_telered_time (Default: 0.3) - Amount of time for red tele to recharge, (Valve default: 10.0)
    Note: I mean 0.0 disable, as only for that team

    ChangeLog:
    • 2.0 (February 17, 2008 )
      • Remove the use of ADT_arrays
      • Check for teleport exists added
      • Better timer creation

    Wooo. Can you add a way for a custom flag to have the only access to the faster teleporter times? For donators of course I'll throw in free access for it on my server

    I can't.

    This plugin just detects teleports, and keep setting their recharge time to the cvar time. It does not detect who is using the teleport.

    I guess it is possible to make that, but:
    a. It would be buggy, the plugin would not know who would be teleported if there was more then 1 player on the entrace
    b. I would have to add some extra checks on the plugin, with can be quite heavy for the plugin to load.
    c. I some times play on your server. I love it ^^

    ha darn! I can only dream This is like another balancing plugin to keep the teams even with fast respawn. I wish there was a plugin that let you change the respawn times for each team

    beetlesmod lets you do taht, i have red spawning slightly longer than blue on all maps which is a bit unfair on ctf but i could add custom times in individual map files but tahts a job for another day

    What an ace idea, 32 player servers defintely need the extra help for the blue team, as last night in 6 30min games we never once got to the final stage

    Actually a suggestion, would it be possible to have settings depending upon the map, thus if dustbowl, we can give blue an advantage and put red at a dissadvantage; And for the other maps the settings don't take effect?

    surely you just put

    sm_teleblue_time 0
    sm_teleblue_time 0

    in server.cfg

    then in tf/cfg/

    you put files like cp_gravelpit.cfg and cp_dustbowl.cfg

    and inside the map configs you change the sm_teleblue_time and sm_telered_time to your liking.
