we used to run l4dtoolz, and had no problems with any of our campaigns and rotation, which involved switching automatically between versus, survival, scavenge, and back to versus. If you're having problems, It's probably a poorly written plugin causing it.
on the flipside... I've been developing a new MM:S plugin to perform the same functions as l4dtoolz, just a little more clean.
