This should work on all server configs.

Called it Hide and Seek Version 1.1.

  • Added protection for mp_playerid 1 and mp_forcecamera 0
  • Added own weapon stripper if SDKHooks isn't loaded
  • Added Cvar to disable Anticheat
  • Now kicking immediately on cl_minmodels violation
  • Enabled unlimited modelchanging. Just set sm_hns_changelimit 0 and sm_hns_changelimittime 0.0
  • Added hider walkingspeed modification from SelaX' code
  • Optionally decrease seekers health when they shoot and increase if they hit or kill a hider
  • Optionally fade the visibility of hiders depending on their health (Experimental)

New Cvars:
sm_hns_anticheat - Check player cheat convars, 0 = off/1 = on. (Default 1)
sm_hns_hp_seeker_enable - Should CT lose HP when shooting, 0 = off/1 = on. (Default 1)
sm_hns_hp_seeker_dec - How many HP should a CT lose on shooting? (Default 5)
sm_hns_hp_seeker_inc - How many hp should a CT gain when hitting a hider? (Default 15)
sm_hns_hp_seeker_bonus - How many hp should a CT gain when killing a hider? (Default 50)
sm_hns_opacity_enable - Should T get more invisible on low hp, 0 = off/1 = on. (Default 0)
sm_hns_hidersspeed - Hiders speed (Default: 1.00)

Awesome! It was really quick, thanks.

But mp_forcecamera should be on 1 instead of 0, right?

Also, does it work with custom maps? I saw map configs, and it's so damn simple compared to the ES hide and seek haha.

Edit2: I found another bug: In thirdperson, you can go through every props_physic

Well I used to forbid this kind of "glitch" for numerous reasons, it's unfair imo.
I managed to work it out by putting turbophysics to 1 and pushscale to 4, but still, it seems that props act differently whether you use third or first person.

So, it's a great release that will please many HnS fans

Can't set mp_forcecamera to 1. That would result in that strange stuck camera on thirdperson view, where only the model was moving, but the camera doesn't.

Mh, don't know how to fix the props problem..

Oh, so that was the reason...
I hope there is a plugin out there to prevent dead CT's from ghosting.

The probs problem is not really severe.

There are still some serious problems with radar and free look.
Even with cl_radaralpha 0, when you die you can see the overview of the map.
And then, free look is available for everyone, which is encouraging people to ghost.

Any clue on how to block this ?

Edit: If you could also add a cvar, to block the CT knife +attack2, it would be awesome

I'm searching for a solution, but it seems it's not possible from what i see.
We could only restrict every team to spectate their own team only, but this way hiders wouldn't be able to spectate the seekers on death. Don't know if that's a problem;)

Blocking the +attack2 or taking health for that one too?

So it should simulate a forcecamera ? I like this option, if you are able to do it, it's fine

As for the +attack2 with knife, blocking it or removing a lot of health you say ? As you wish. I used to have a es plugin that took like 50 hp but whatever.
