i have 2 processors for my pc.
which will be better?
1. Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz OR
2. Pentium 4 3.40GHz

Your pentium 4 3.4Ghz has almost the same performance (it has less, but close to) as Pentium Extreme Edition 965, asuming that it has HyperThreading.

I found this by using google, you could have done the same.

Or, if you are too stupid to use google, you could just have set the core 2 duo in the machine, run some CPU benchmarks and then compare it to the results you will get of the pentium 4. I do that on a daily basis, and it is way easier to do that than asking help on a modding forum.
