Simple Admin Skins for DoD:S

Introduction/Features :

After much searching for a plugin to simply set admin models, I found nothing (other than Mani Admin).

I created this plugin to allow players to easily set models for admins in DoD:S.

I have included some basic admin models, but this plugin will work with any. Simply edit admin_skins.ini and admin_skindownloads.ini

You list the model file in admin_skins.ini and list all the files in admin_skindownloads.ini as shown in the files.

The plugin will change the skin of any admin with the ADMIN_KICK flag

Known bugs :

• Players using the Medic Class (Medic Class Mod) display ADMIN skin instead of Medic

Any suggestions/comments on the code or the plugin are welcomed and appreciated.

I just discovered (already knew but was an oversight) that with the way the models are created, a universal directory does NOT work.

I am currently working on modifying the plugin to easily accept user input for model structures.

Currently there is no support for L4D2, but I can definintely look into it once I get everything working for DoDS.

The plugin now reads from admin_skins.ini and admin_skindownloads.ini for the model locations.

Hannibal I tired installing it but it didn't work. I assume the .ini files go into the config folder correct?

Also, I got so confused with your model files. Why are there so many? Normally with skins you just have a .vtf file or .vmt file. Sorry for the nooby questions but i really like your plugin and would love to get it working for the servers.

Normally with skins you just have a .vtf file or .vmt file

That will work with clientsideskins but not with Serverside!!!
