using default settings and realized players still only get 1 damage even in expert. Is this a bug?

Seems the damage cvar l4d2_spitter_acid_damage is inverted so "2" would apply the damage specified to Survivors. 13 would apply the specified damage to all and scale the damage for Survivors. Maybe I should change the cvar description instead of inverting the current logic that people might have setup.

The cvar should read:

"Omitted values scale the damage the game inflicts. Or: Apply full damage value from dmg_* cvars. on: 1=Common. 2=Survivors (default). 4=Special. 8=Self. 15=All. Add numbers together."

with a default value of "13"

the cvar "l4d2_spitter_acid_grace" is not working correctly for me, when i try to change the value below from the default one it doesnt apply the changed values it keeps with the original 1 sec before damaging any survivors, unless i misunderstood something here.

This sounds like God Frames being applied, not an issue with the plugin or grace cvar. You can use the God Frames Patch plugin to remove the god frames so the Spitters acid damages immediately.

Suggestion:

Add option to revive survivors when they incapped and take acid damage.
Right now if a survivor is incapped in acid, he can't be revived, revive is reset with every tick of acid damage.

(Sorry if this idea is off-topic).

Dumb question but does this plugin acid damage also increase/decrease depend on difficulty? (less damage on easy, more damage on advance/expert)

I've play advance difficulty and felt the acid damages are kinda still similar to normal difficulty which i play a lot
