The possible reasons:
- you have other plugin that controls tank hp
- you have convar overflow, enter in console this command "sm_cvar tank_on_spawn_hp" and check is it really changed
- you have l4d_tank_on_spawn_control_hp with value 0.

I notice that in L4D1 maps, in final waves. The director does not let more than one tank spawn at the same time. This problem was resolved in this plugin:

It could operate the spawning of two or more tanks simultaneously on L4D1 maps.

Can you add a cvar that force spawn 1 tank when out of the safezone (when they are maps with secure doors, the spawn tank can see us through the window - cvar this) of anything map and delete other tanks placed by the director?
Including when they lose and restart the round.
firstmap, finalemap, etc.

L4d2. Не знаю, что разрабы опять натворили, но теперь танк на картах из первой части, это просто праздник. Появляются на одной из карт и в концовке.

If a spawn queue of tanks waiting list is activated before.
So when you use the command sm_cvar l4d_tank_on_spawn_enabled "0", the spawn queue of tanks waiting list is not deleted or is not paused.

In addition to this, can you add what model can a tank appear with?
I have a private plugin that does is that when a sacrifice tank (model of c7m1) appears, this tank behaves differently from the rest of the tanks, but what I am looking for is that it can only exist at most 1 alive.
So your tank on spawn plugin can fulfill that feature, but I need to be able to select the tank model I want it to have.

Could you also make the list of tanks can start working when the map starts or they leave the shelter?
