A roleplay server in 2015?! I know, crazy huh? Well I've gotten everything 100% set up and working, however I'm having a very aggravating issue.. This is very common on Windows servers, and the only fix I know of is to host via linux (which I cannot do currently)... but my issues is every time a foreign symbol is typed in chat (ex: Æ or æ) the server will crash. I've been told it's because of something to do with ASCII and ANSII (Neither of which I have any clue about) and the plugin being coded for Linux? I believe the culprit to be ARP_TalkArea.amxx, since when the following configuration is used, it causes the crash.

// 0 - no standard chat
// 1 - normal print mode, i.e. 'Hawk: this is a sample message'
// 2 - extra print mode, i.e. 'Hawk says, "This is a sample message."'
arp_printmode "2"

When arp_printmode is 1, the symbols Æ or æ show up just fine.

If you have issues with a plugin, contact the author.

Also, this particular forum is ONLY for default AMX Mod X plugins and the AMX Mod X core.
