I'll be setting up a 1.6 tournament at my school with 16 round games with a half switch after round 8. With just the base game I have almost no idea how to permanently mod the server or even change the config without the HLDS server startup. At this point I can only setup game time, rounds, and other basic things. If anyone knows how to implement a half switch I omegle.2yu.co would greatly appreciate some insight.

Set it to 8 rounds and when the map changes (change it back to the same map), tell people to join the other team. You'll probably want to enabled hud_takesshots (set it to 1) which should automatically capture screenshots of the scoreboard (or at least it does on Day of Defeat which is what I play).

Then, use the screenshots to tally up the final score.

After your tournament is over, remember to set hud_takesshots back to 0 so that you don't fill up your hard drive.
