I've ran into this problem of the plugin only sending the text message to the client(s) but not playing the sound file. If you have sv_pure set to 1 in your server.cfg file then you need to whilelist that mp3 file in your pure_server_whitelist.txt located in the hl2 directory.

in my case I'll use my location as an example: c:\deathmatch\orangebox\hl2\pure_server_white list.txt

you would have to add the following line.

sound\ragequit\... allow_from_disk

Make sure it is within the opening bracket "{" and the closeing bracket on the bottom of the file "}"

Hey Bl4nk, Awesome mod! One thing I hope you can implement though, is to make bots exempt from the R-R-R-AGE QUIT sound. I have it so that when a player joins a bot leaves to take its place, and the rage quit sound happens alot.

Okay, so the plugin works, but I also had the server crash when I was defusing the bomb right at the end of the defuse the server went down. Might of been a coincidence but I haven't had the server crash yet. Anything in the code might make it do that?

Check if you have other plugins installed that might interfere, because I'm pretty sure this wouldn't crash, especially my modification.

Im a little confused as to how it's suppose to play this "ragequit.mp3" if you did not provide the sound file in your downloads, Without the sound file you will only get an error message telling you there is no such file.

Installed as directed, but doesn't work. (Using both the original .smx file and the one posted above) on page 6. Are there any known plugins that would interfere with it?
