i have a couple of plugins that say bad load, when i check the log it says

'Plugin uses an unknown function (name "entity_get_string") - check your modules.ini"

anybody know what this is and how to fix it,

it probably means that you didnt enable the modules needed to run the plugin so the plugin malfunctioned, causing it to not work.

Ok, here's a way to do this. Using notepad, open up the .sma file for the plugin.

Then look for coding such as this:

#include <amdmodx>
#include <engine>

Whatever is inside the <> is what needs to be running in order for your plugin to work. So Enginge module must be running of my example plugin wouldn't work! AMXX is running always, so that's nothing really.

Yeah its probably gonna be either you dont have the engine dll or whatever, allowed at some point in metamod/amxx, or you just have an old engine module that lacks that function, although its a pretty old function so i'm assuming its the previous problem.
