Ok, I've found out how to get that error. If you download the .sp and just rename it to .smx, sm will throw that exact error. ;-)

Download the compiled .smx in my original post and you will be fine.

EXCELLENT! just what I was looking for. Only problem is, it does not seem ot do anything for my TF2 server. I can execute the commands (in the server console) but it does not seem to change the speed at which players move. I have tried several sm_speedup_speed numbers from 1.1 to 8 and my speed seems to be the same no matter what.

Any ideas?

The plugin sets the speed on player spawn. Did you respawn the players after trying the settings?

Yes, I respawned and even quit the server and reloaded.
I can edit the ctx files and get a speed boost that way, but I would rather be able to do it dynamically the way your mod does.

So Mosalar, how did the debauchery go? Any ideas on why speedup would not be working for me on TF2? I'd really like to get this on my server.
Peace

I'm sorry bat, I haven't been able to do anything for a while, works been a bitch. Maybe another coder would be so kind as to look and fix. It's probably the m_flLaggedMovementValue, I'm not sure if tf2 recognizes that var or not, I know it's a base OB var, seeing that it works on several other mods.

You can delete file ...cfg/sourcemod/plugin.sm_speedup.cfg
and reboot server to get updated cvar "description".
Not have to!

Admin access/override:
"sm_speedup" (admin flag reservation "a")

Cvar edited:
"sm_speedup_enabled" "0"
// 0 = disable
// 1 + non-admins
// 2 + admins
// 4 + bots
// To EVERYONE (1+2+4 = 7) sm_speedup_enabled "7"
// -
// Default: "0"
// Minimum: "0.000000"
// Maximum: "7.000000"

Spoiler

And this should work now HL2MP Deathmatch mode (mp_teamplay 0)
