not wroking I can only build 1 sentry but I have changed it into 3

Not a stupid question at all. I spent a lot of time figuring that out lol.

Since the SteamPipe update, the objects.txt file has been placed inside one of the vpk files, so you would need to extract it from there and put the modified file in your custom folder.

You might need to create the folders if this is your first time adding custom stuff.

Directory structure is /root-tf-folder/custom/mystuff/scripts/

And inside the /scripts/ folder, it's where you put the objects.txt that you have extracted from the VPK.

Since I'm already doing this, might as well save you the trouble and give you the objects.txt file, this is an old objects.txt file but I'm pretty sure it hasn't been changed in the recent updates. It's what we're currently using on our server and it's working just fine.

You just need to edit the MaxObjects parameter under each object to whatever amount you wish to set it to.

You need to restart the server so it would take effect.

Once it's working, you can then change it on the fly using the cvars on the first post.

Hello.

I'm using this pluggin in my TF2 server and the objects.txt that Donski putted in the previous post. I changed the "MaxObjects" to "4". It works for teleporters and dispensers, but it isn't working for sentry guns. It allows me to build 1 normal sentry and unlimited descartable sentries.

It happens everytime I change sm_buildrestrict_red_sentries "1" and sm_buildrestrict_blue_sentries "1" to a higher value than 1...

Anyone can help me please?

Use the sm_buildrestrict_immunity cvar.

That just makes it so any admin can bypass it. I need only admins with the "z" flag able to bypass.

Ah, right. You may need to change that part of the code to only allow ADMFLAG_ROOT and recompile it.
