Get the latest build from here: http://users.alliedmods.net/~kyles/builds/SteamWorks/

Place the extension in the extension folder.
eg [windows]: extract the SteamWorks.ext.dll to addons\sourcemod\extensions

Then restart the server. May only need to change map.

im pretty sure that i did it that way, but if there is a csgo update, the server wont restart. is there sth else i have to regard? like -autoupdate in startparameter. maybe sth else in startline? (btw: linux server)

I did that and I'm still getting the "The specified module could not be found." error

For auto update yes you will need to do that or use an update script.

did you restart the server?

Check that there is a file called SteamWorks.ext.so in this location on the server:

/home/l4d2/server/left4dead2/addons/sourcemod/extensions/

The error is saying the file isn't there.

I run my game servers in screen and i restarted them. ./kill.sh ./start.sh.

Did you check that the file was located there?
