That quoted input happens when I just crossing next to elevator (without executing code, without pressing button or so).
So, with "Input Hooks" you can easily see that somebody else already unlock that button.
And using the hammer, you can find it.

If you mean, enable/disable, yes, you can do it whenever you want. To enable it again just call "Enable" input in similar way.

Sorry...I was just trying to help, explaining another way on how to get this information.
I'm not trying to be best than anyone.

I already used Input Hooks, but in some maps, like Hard Rain is kind impossible to monitor the console, even with the filter thing, if you don't know what you looking for it gets very complicated.

Also I don't like to use hammer for this kind of things, since I need to close my game to open it (if it is already open, AFAIK).

Use Stripper, much easier to see whats going on, just follow the targetnames.
