Help! Cannot setup a SourceMod server

I'm using Windows 8.1 Pro x64 and trying to setup a Team Fortress 2 server.
I downloaded the latest Team Fortress 2 dedicated server files via SteamCMD.

When I start the server without SourceMod, everything is okay.
However, once I install Metamod: Source and SourceMod (also Metamod: Source alone), the server won't start. Instead, the program crashes after the "Starting dedicated server..." window.
My local IP address matches the IP address that is used to open port 27015 UDP.

Is today everyone's "lets install TF2 day" or something? This is like the fourth thread on this same topic.

I resolved the problem by downloading the latest Metamod:Source and SourceMod snapshot builds.

Right, I meant to put it my last post that the page I linked to shows which games currently need snapshots (and which version they need at minimum).

Also, I'm not sure why my browser copied those as literal ( and ) instead of their url encoded versions.

DUDE you have to download "sourcemod and meta mod source" archive files seperate and then extract both folders and then merge the metamod source folder into the metamod folder that comes with the sourcemod and when you see a confirmation for merging the two click yes. and there you have it. i know people are use to AMX MOD X 1.8.1 but there are NEVER Ending updates to sourcemod and metamod so it comes as seperate archives

Probably because there are "NEVER Ending updates" to tf2, cs:go, and Dota 2

Pssh, no there aren't. TF2 was released on 2007 Oct 9 and the latest major game breaking update was 2014 Oct 29, which was... er... 7 days ago.
