Hmm, thanks for the reply. It was actually set to weapon_m4a1, but I just did another fresh reinstall (after the host finally updated the server.. only upon making a support ticket about it) and made sure both CT and T start is weapon_knife only.

It happens immediately after selecting either team when the match is about to be initialized; I don't even get to spawn.

I need some assistance. I have re-installed all the required addons several times and the server just doesn't work.

This is the error I get. I tryed installing the addons at different points, so I first tried the SDK-Hooks then the Hosties, didn't work. Then the other way around, but hosties originally worked by it self, but then failed once the SDK-Hooks were added.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure you are using the sdkhooks version included in your sourcemod installation? I have seen several people installing sdkhooks 2.2.0 or 2.1 thinking it's a newer version while it's actually not, use the sdkhooks included in your sourcemod installation if you want this to work. (basically the sourcemod and sdkhooks versions should end up being the same)

I had this problem, and I did do that on accident so I deleted my sourcemod folder and then added it back as a fresh install of the mod but it still does it. It also gives a warning that looks like this before it crashes:


Error goes away when I remove Hosties.

EDIT: I figured it out, it must be an incompatibility with this plugin, because when I removed the starting weapons for CT, it was fixed.

Retalak, to fix that crash error you have to do this:

open the cfg/sourcemod/sm_hosties2.cfg file on your server

change this line:
sm_hosties_ct_start "weapon_knife,weapon_m4a1,weapon_usp"

to the following:
sm_hosties_ct_start "weapon_knife,weapon_m4a1,weapon_hkp2000"
