Hello All,

My server rates are as follow :-

sv_minrate 0
sv_maxrate 4000
sv_minupdaterate 4
sv_maxupdaterate 13

And my upload speed is 512 kbps, so i want to know that what should be the client side rates by which they get smooth and less choke loss gameplay

The server rates are too low to support anything good.

Also, for the client, your rate is based on your Download speed. Upload speed only matters for servers.

Thnx, My download speed is 2 mbps so wat will be client rates by this speed

rate 25000
cl_cmdrate 105 (if fps_max 100)
cl_updaterate 101
cl_rate 9999 or 20000

The theoretical best that a client could use on any server are the maximums set by that server assuming the server can actually handle it's own maximums with a full server. Now, regarding the cmdrate, each client will need to determine what is best by finding the spot that causes no choke.

Well that won't do any good since his server rates won't allow that.
