Help installing

I installed amxmodx to my addons folder in ftp.... i set up the user.ini file with my steam id, I binded a key for amxmodmenu. Yet i am getting nothing. My server is a linux and i believe i have installed the linux mod to the server. If somone could help me or do it for me it would greatly be appretiated. Thanks

Did you properly set it up? Is AMXX even loading or not? If not, are you using Metamod-P 1.19p28? If AMXX is not loading at all, this is most likely the cause. Type 'meta list' in your server console to check if it's loaded. If you don't have metamod at all, it will give you 'unknown command', and if that's the case, please read this on how to install metamod, and make sure to use Metamod-P 1.19p28.
If AMXX is loading and just your admin isn't working, double check you set up the admins correctly. http://wiki.amxmodx.org/index.php/Adding_Admins_(AMX_Mod_X)

i am using amxmodx version 1.71... i dont see a metamod so is it ok for me to install Metamod-P 1.19p28

Currently Metamod-P 1.19p28 is your only option.
