Hey, i just setup a fresh CSGO Server on Ubuntu, i launched the server with these commands:

./srcds_run -game csgo -console -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_active +map de_dust2 +sv_setsteamaccount xxxx -tickrate 128

And when i join the Server, sv and var go red pretty frequently. Would appreciate some help :/

edit: CPU is a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v3 @ 2.40GHz

2.4 just isnt cutting for 128 tick. I suggest lowering the tick or upgrading your cpu.
Also some things to help are sv_maxrate 0 and sv_minrate 300000

Since the srcds process is single threaded each one can only use one CPU core. If you hit the limit (128tick easily hits the limit on 2.4GHz CPUs) the var will spike.

...again, re-check you are actually running CPU at full performance and not in power safe mode / low frequency
