Hello, i run a dedicated server from my pc and i always set the port to 27015, my external ip never changes it stays the same, but whenever i run the dedicated server the port changes to like, 64117 or 64226 or 63234 or something like that, i have no router and firewalls off because people can join, but how do i fix the port change so people can keep it on favourites?

Thank you for helping

~Yours sincerely, Fizzpops

This has nothing to do with AMXx, thus it does not belong in an AMXx section. Moved.

Why not force the port to be 27015 with +port 27015 in the command line startup

You can still edit the command line options.

I used to have this too; got it with a (DLink) DIR-624 IIRC. I never really solved it even after almost a year of looking for a solution to it. I just came home one day and it was on 27015 and stuck on it. I suggest you get a new router.

You can't do that. If the port isn't open it will use another port that is.
