Hi all,
i use this plugin since a few days and I really like it. But I have one Question: Only the first Headshot sound is played. the others are ignored :/ what is wrong here? The sounds are getting downloaded and if a change the path for Sound Nr 0 it gets played, so there seems to be no problem with download or the files themselfes...

This is how the standard.cfg section looks like

But I've glossed over previous replies to see whether someone has mentioned it already and... voila!
You have it fixed in ur version, which doesn't even require me to rewrite any config or translation files.

Hello, would it be possible to color the Announce Message? maybe like this:

{default}[{green}QuakeSounds{default}] {green}Write {blue}!quake Or /quake {default}In The Chat {green}To set your QuakeSounds{default}!


I would like to do it myself, but I'm a total noob.

Just an idea to this plugin, maybe add volume??? Just like Abner_RES Round end sounds... Make it possible to change the volumes... Some people don't want QUAKE SOUNDS DUE TO THE LOUD VOLUME OF THE SOUND EFFECTS... Cheers!

Hi everyone,

i have followed the instructions and added all the needed files. I do not have fast download. When I join the Server I get the following Message in the Console.

I need help. The plugin works for as far as the sounds go. All I'm looking for, but my issue is when people try to connect to my server, vut they don't have sv_allowuploads set to 1 they can't join. It seems valve change to make it set to 0 by default. Is there something I can do on my server side that will allow people to join without having to do that? When they try connecting it gets to the dl part and just freezes for them.

Hi all. There must be some kind of custom format (whether mp3 or wav), right? Because I've followed everything to the T. I for the life of me cannot assign a custom sound.

We want to hear Forkie from Toy Story 4 say "I'm trash" when someone gets knifed, but it just does nothing.

I've tried it as an mp3 and wav. I've also tried renaming the file exactly as it is in place, and using different names. The client downloads the file (it goes in their sounds folder), but it just doesn't play.

And the server, nor the client show any error I can see.

Is there a certain format? Like needs to be mono, or some certain bitrate?

No idea for .WAV, but for .MP3, I use:

Code:
Audio Codec: mp3
Audio Bitrate: 320 (VBR - variable bitrate, if possible)
Sample Rate: 44100 (not working with 48000)
Audio Channel: 2
Quality: High (Larger file size)
To transform everything to MP3 compatible with CS:GO, I am using Any Video Converter Ultimate (with the settings I listed above) by Anvsoft Inc. With this, I can transform even .MKV video to .MP3 audio. Also, from .FLAC or .WAV to .MP3.
