Don't know about tank bots, but in case human player is a tank, props trajectory is calculated wrong with this plugin. Even if you target some other player with a car, the car goes in totally different direction. Includes all the props (cars, trash cans, logs)/

Right, then probably as I said in my last post could fix it, I can get into details to find a more elegant solution than "HarryPotter" 's one.

Actually HarryPotter's solution works pretty nice, so I think if it works, don't waste your time playing with it.

It maybe works, but there might be future problems with it, not only in L4D2, so I rather check when a weapon is really calling for Weapon_ShootPosition with FX_FireBullets, if that's the problem.
Imo, the other way would be also to hook just FX_FireBullets and change the shooting position there, but sometimes these functions gets inlined where they don't respect calling convention and gets a bit harder to hook.

Lately, I've been using the bullet displacement fix in Left 4 Dead 2, and now it seems to be pushing the server's hitboxes for bullets one tick behind the client's. Removing this add-on from the `sourcemod` folder allowed both the client and server hitboxes for bullets to be synchronized. Here's a video I've uploaded to my YouTube channel comparing the results I've gotten with and without the bullet displacement fix.

With this in mind, it makes me wonder if the community developers have stealthily added the bullet displacement fix to Left 4 Dead 2 in The Last Stand Refresh update.
