Hi, i recently added "hats" to my server. Gotta say its amazing and tempted to teach myself to make some mdl's, lol.

Anyway, im getting a problem with the plugin. When i type /hats, i get the onscreen menu but it only dispays the first 4 hats but when i press 9, it still goes onto the next page and still only displays the first 4 hats on that page.

you can still press 1-8 to choose a hat but hats 5-8 you cant see what your choosing.

Any help please??

Hey sgtbane, let me tell you, this plugin is amazing!

Although I am encountering a few problems -
I have the following settings that I personally type in before I locally complie the plugin:

Code:
	P_AdminOnly		= register_cvar("hat_adminonly",	"1")
	P_AdminHats 	= register_cvar("hat_adminhats",	"1")
	P_RandomJoin	= register_cvar("hat_random",		"0")
And even though hat_random is set to 0, everytime map changes everyone gets random hats. I don't see why this happens. The other part of the cvars work fine (were only admins can go to the /hats menu and change their hats).

Please help me out. Thanks.

EDIT: Another problem. I properly added LagParty's 6 hats (editing the HatList.txt file) and the hats' names show up on the /hats menu, but when you choose one your hat dosen't actually change to it.

could some one make a tut to make hats... ive 2 helms, or 1 Armadyl helmet from Runescape and a a Bird that stands on ur head xD

but now... every hat i make the program crashes...

I bet the easiest way would be to make CT's admin (like regular user is z, make ct's z+ t) and T will be the flag for Hats. Then only CT's can put it on. There should be some plugin that sets a Team with admin. Hopefully?

I made some changes and uploaded a new version on the first page.
Changes:
- force a specific hat on everyone
- fixed menu getting all messed up in some cases
- random hats on joining for bots
- team specific hats

As for the colors in the menu...
grey=currently being used
white=everyone can use
yellow=has restrictions, but can be used (CT/Admin only, and you are CT/Admin)
red=has restrictions, you cannot use (CT/Admin only, your not CT/Admin)


If you want to have it so that only humans, opposed to zombies can use the hats, simply setup your .ini so that there are no hats available for the zombie team, and only for the human team. when they change teams and they have a team restricted hat on, it will remove it.
