I was going to ask almost the same thing. Would love the functionality that if a player joins one of my servers and its full, it will automatically redirect and load an less full or empty one of my servers.

Dont even really want them to get a confirm dialog really.

Can somebody add an option to auto redirect to another server if there is only 1 slot left, but ignore admin and let them use hidden reserved slots?
For example I'll make visible 33 slot server and when there will be 32/33 and somebody with no admin rights will try to connect, they'll get auto redirected.

Anyone get any plugin to work where when they join, they immediately have the "Redirect to server" menu popup?

I just simply need folks to know the server they joined is the old server.....and offer to redirect them to the new one (regardless of how many people are in the server).....even if they have to press a key (i.e. non-automated).....

I have used "search" but only find this and the AMX plugin called XRedirect (which is only CSS isn't it?)

Yes I would love a redirect service that would prompt players at a given player amount.
Say you have a 36 slot server and you want to suggest to the 28th connected player a proposed server to connect to.
I'm well aware that players can not be auto redirected.

Did anyone ever figure out why F3 might not work? We used this plugin on our servers and it worked for me in the beginning but then i never got the menu again that tells me to push F3 to switch over. In my local cfg file it maps the key correctly:

bind "F3" "askconnect_accept"

But i think it doesn't have anything to do with binds but i'm not sure....

Even after installing a new PC with TF2 i still had the same problem so it must be something that is stored into my steam profile!

I can't use this fixed version because we are now switching over to a more advanced server switch plugin like this one: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=82886

This is the third plugin (serverhop & serverredirect) I have tried.
None of them ask for a connection anymore. Is this something Valve has decided to prevent?

Is there a working alternative?
