If I am using Metamod, do need that file at all?

The OP instructions for running Mani under Metamod says you simply rename the file from mani_admin_plugin.vdf to mani_admin_plugin.vdd but it has contents that point to:

"Plugin"
{
	"file" "../cstrike/addons/mani_admin_plugin"
}

Can I also remove \cstrike\addons\mani_admin_plugin.dll
&
\cstrike\addons\mani_admin_plugin\mani_admin_ plugin_i486.so

as well as \cstrike\addons\mani_admin_plugin.vdf

Anyhow a clear explanation would be great

you do not need the VDF file if you are using the metamod version (beta 1.2) of mani.

I"ve just installed the newsest version of 1.2, and didn't need to change a thing... works great. :-)
