I would like read_data(0) to return the message ID so that I can have one function to handle more than one message.

Currently there is no way to detect what message called a function that I am aware of.

i think it would be more realistic to make a read_msgtype function so that we don't have to rewrite all the plugins that are using read_data

Well nobody should be using read_data(0) at the moment as it returns nothing. But either solution would be good for me.

Hms? Read_data(0) returns something sometimes. If you check it it contains the client the message is sent to.

It kept returning -1 for me.

I was working with HostagePos, HostageK, Radar recently and they returned index. Could be different with other messages...
