Thx for the plugin. I don't have tested it yet, but i'll add it soon if all goes right
I have some few questions:

- Is there a way to put a timelimit to the length of the song played ? ex: the song last 1 min 30sec, and i want it to last only 30 sec. I know i can edit the song himslef, but it's easier if there is already a way to do it with the plugin. Or is there a way to end a song played ?

- I put sm_saysoundhe_showmenu "0". With this, only admin can play song on the server ? (saysounds and all..)

Thx in advance and sorry for my bad english.

After trying it:

sm plugins list:
27 <Failed> "Say Sounds (including Hybrid Edition)" (4.0.5) by Hell Phoenix|Naris|FernFerret|Uberman|psychonic|ed gecom|woody|Miraculix|gH0sTy

sm exts list:
[10] <FAILED> file "soundlib.ext.dll": Le module spcifi est introuvable. (well, in english it says something like not found :p)

What did i do wrong ? I carrefully did for installation:

*.smx -> addons/sourcemod/plugins
saysoundhe.phrases.txt -> addons/sourcemod/translations
saysounds.cfg -> addons/sourcemod/configs
Sounds go in your mods "sound" directory (such as sound/misc/filename.wav)
If you run a "pure" server make sure you add the folder contining your sounds to the whitelist.

Did you install the Soundlisbs extensions?
You can grab it here:

Yep, inside the .zip of the extension there were 2 files: "soundlib.ext.dll" and "soundlib.ext.so". I put them both in the extension folder inside the sourcemod folder.
I'll try with the file in your link..
The files are the same, and so it still doesn't load (for the plugin) and it doesn't found the "soundlib.ext.dll" for the sm exts list.

Thx for the info, i'll try with the 4.0.3 if i can find it
Only the last version is there, and the 3.2.6 one.
Could you post your 4.0.3 please ?

Well there's obviously something wrong with the Windows build of the Soundlib 1.0.1 extension.
Try the attached soundlib 1.0 version which was part of the saysounds 4.0.3 version.
P.S. the 1.0.1 linux build runs fine.

File Type: zip soundlib.ext.zip (215.7 KB, 1899 views)

Will do that tonight, i'll post the results tomorrow, thx for your help Ghosty

Well, ok, with the new file it works !

[Edit]another question: if an admin start a sound, is there a way to stop the sound for all the player ? (!stop only stop the sound for the one who write it )
[Edit] Is there a way to create some folder in the sounds menu ? Something like a "music" folder, a "vocal sounds" folder and other ?

For the life of my I cant get this plugin to load... I am getting the following error in the logs:

Unable to load plugin "saysounds.smx": Required extension "Sound Info Library" file("soundlib.ext") not running

I have downloaded the soundlib.ext file and added it to the extensions folder...

Is there a trick to get this to load?

If you run a Windows server you'll need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
