replay_84, why do you use #define DEBUG 1 on production server?

I'm running multi slot servers with many add ons. Sometimes there are problems with spawns. E.g players spawn outside of saferoom or just in the wrong saferoom (like 6 players spawn in start saferoom, 2 players spawn outside or in the endsaferoom) It was a great solution to let people use !spawntel when there is no admin around. But people report now that some players use it to escape from the tank. So the solution could be to disable the access to this command after 1 or 2 minutes. So players are further in the map and don't need spawnfixes anymore. I'm using a plugin that sets a cmd on a timer. But it seems the chat command is still working with "l4d_surv_spawnpos_enabled 1"

replay_84, report the name of such map so I may look what's going on later.

Teleport manually is not something I wanted to give to players (only to admin. and only for testing reason).

However, I may think about giving such ability for short time. Not sure yet, is it make sense.
Consider, this plugin as still an Alpha-version.

dead industry - chapter 4
fallen - final chapter,
dead flag blues - final chapter
one 4 nine - final chapter

and more finales in general and maps we can not remember now. !spawntel works almost always. It can happen that people spawn in the endsaferoom using that command. It might not be perfect, but having this command is so much better than not having it. So I really don't want to remove it.


I can collect more maps and info if you want, but I rarely play myself currently. I'm talking to active players tho.

Is this a fix on the L4D2 Dedicated Server Issues when you enter the end Safe Room and the server loads the next map but you get stuck lord knows where with a grey view and a few glow outlines?

What even causes this bug?

Didn't have time to test this plugin more since we talked, but I'm trying to get rid of the messages at mapstart

I removed CVAR_FLAGS from the plugin and still see these messages:


Bill distance = 0.000000. Stuck? 0
survivor warp position: -7982.120117 -15018.900390 295.319000
Louis distance = 0.000000. Stuck? 0
survivor warp position: -7982.120117 -15018.900390 295.319000
Zoey distance = 0.000000. Stuck? 0


Any way to remove them?

Unfortunately it turned out I can't use this plugin anymore at this point.

The automatic algorythm seems to give bad results. Before I was able to use the chat command with the plugin disabled. (automatic algorythm is not that important if enough people know about the chat command) With your latest fix so chat commands disable together with "l4d_surv_spawnpos_enabled 0" it's obviously not possible anymore to ignore (sometimes broken) the automatic algorythm. So can't even use the chat command anymore as l4d_surv_spawnpos_enabled 1 would make people stuck in places where using !spawntel would just spawn them on the same wrong place again.
