You should assume that there will be no sourcemod for cs2. Maybe another mod (source2mod).

People still play CSS! I still have had people this year on my discord asking for help in setting up War3Source EVO for their servers.

I'm just curious if CS2 will be Sourcemod compatible so I can work to make sure my mod works with CS2.

It currently works in Fistful of Frags, Team Fortress 2, CSS, and CSGO

You could run the same MySQL database for all 4 games and players could swap between games to keep their levels, gold, diamonds, and races shared across all those games.

I'm currently working on making translations work and once that is complete, I'll be adding new races and shop items.

CS2 looks like improvements to CSGO so hopefully not a completely different game just better.

It will of course be worthless if we don't have Sourcemod plugins working.

CSGO will become CS2, not a different game just a huge update using the Source 2 engine. As for Sourcemod I am guessing it will need some major updates to work properly. What is going to suck is all the classic plugins we already have won't work anymore unless the developer is still around it fix/update it.

so all csgo community servers are down. I think all plugins are gone. cs2 gonna use luna ?

Does SM support any of the old CSGO beta branches? If not, will it be "downdated" to support atleast one of them?
