If you want to reset the stats, just delete it. No need to waste time downloading editing and reuploading just to reset it.

That's what I was thinking when I read the description, but I've never dealt with stats. Seems like a big waste of time. I'm sure you can write a .bat or something to delete it daily, too.

I think this helps if you happen to run into hackers that kill ranks, and you can delete them. Maybe a few other scenarios I can think of now, but theirs small reasons sometimes.

Should I add a "Reset Stats" button and an option for FTP transactions?

MSVBVM60.dll? That is the main visual basic 6.0 runtime library and is required for all vb6 apps. I probably could remove it from the zip file as I think it is delivered within one of the MS service packs. I just include it because not everyone may have it. It is nothing malicious if that is what you are worried about.

What exactly are you doing when this error occurs? Does it occur upon loading or when you click a particular button? Please be specific so I can try to fix.

Also, how many stats entries exist in your csstats.dat? (# of players) Does wincsx open the file without error?

Could you email the csstats.dat file to me just for testing purposes?

yeah, its upon load up , I think there is almost 2,000 entries in there.. ummm no wincsx does not come up with an error loading file.

I opened it up with your program 3 times and it worked then It started coming up with that error.
