    Allows medics to attack enemies via infection.

    Simply select the medical weapon, and press +attack at an enemy, or +reload at a friendly to infect them!

    ConVar's:

    "medic_infect_on", "1"
    - Turn mod on/off

    "sv_medic_infect_dmg_amount", "10"
    - Amount of damage each infection trigger causes

    "sv_medic_infect_dmg_time", "12"
    - Amount of time between infection triggers

    "sv_medic_infect_spread_all" "0"
    - Allow the infection to spread from any player to any other

    "sv_medic_infect_spread_friendly" "1"
    - Allow the infection to spread among friendly players

    "sv_medic_infect_spread_enemy" "0"
    - Allow the infection to spread from one team to another

    "sv_medic_infect_friendly" "1"
    - Allow medics to infect friendly players
    - If a medic infects a friendly, the infection can spread to ALL players
    - Even if this is disallowed by other ConVars
    - Medics infect friendly players via +reload

    "sv_medic_infect_enemy" "1"
    - Allow medics to infect enemy players
    - If a medic infects a friendly, the infection follows ConVar rules
    - Medics infect enemy players via +attack

    Wouldn't it infect disguised ennemy spies and reveal them?

    The script appears to be missing two files:

    #include <tf2>
    #include <tf2_stocks>

    Ah - found it.

    Quote:
    There is now a TF2 extension. It has all sorts of nifty functions, such as changing player properties (like invulnerability), respawning, disguising, and ubercharging players, changing classes, managing a player's weapons, and retrieving resource information (such as capture/defense counts). The TF2 extension also adds @red/@blue targeting codes for administrative commands.
    Apparently, it hasn't been added to the online compiler yet. In the mean time, I'm going to try to build a smx from SVN, and upload it here.

    Spoke to soon... You still kick ass I promise...

    [SM] Plugin infect.smx failed to load: Required extension "TF2 Tools" file("game.tf2.ext") not running.

    How can I get those on my srcds host or do they need to be 'built' with them instead?

    Anyone else that has the same problems as me you will need to upgrade your SM install to the latest 1.1x release.

    See below for more details.

    Thanks,

    Not sure if this is a problem with just my cracked out hosts but the plugin seems to crash my srcds after running for a few mins or when a player uses the needle gun. I am not at a place now where I can play test it more myself but the logs are filling up very fast with details below. 5mbs of logs in less then 5 mins of running srcds.

    L 04/15/2008 - 16:42:13: [SM] Native "IsPlayerAlive" reported: Client 1 is not in game
    L 04/15/2008 - 16:42:13: [SM] Debug mode is not enabled for "infect.smx"
    L 04/15/2008 - 16:42:13: [SM] To enable debug mode, edit plugin_settings.cfg, or type: sm plugins debug 15 on

    <repeats until the host crashes>

    EDIT this is using SourceMod latest 1.1.x alpha release from 1 hour ago and also building the plugin from the source on here. Same effect with crashes using the provided .smx file.

    Thanks

    -Teddy
