Not all servers, just those with tags, plugins, and any unlucky few that Valve just thought should be blacklisted.

Pretty sure you would get kicked if you try to connect to a blacklisted server, no?

ok, i have double checked
- No addons
- Clean server
- blacklisted 1 week for inventory violations

You cant connect to server using connect console command and neither from master list since it's not there.

I think the CS:GO client checks the server IP's standing/status before allowing the client into the server. Not sure, but don't quote me on that. That would be the only plausible reason why it doesn't allow you into blacklisted servers.

CS:GO doesn't join servers directly, it goes via a matchmaking lobby even for direct connections.

ludacris, and what is the reason for this? they don't host workshop maps on our servers anymore, so what are they tracking?

i'm very concerned because i had many servers using that knife plugin, i even had the tags set, yet it seems like none of my servers was blacklisted. Am I just incredibly lucky or what?

I proceeded in removing it today anyway. Sad to do so.
