Hi

I use l4dtoolz for get 20 slots and I was afraid about run left4downtown and get crashs, but I decided try. I guess l4d_maxplayers -1 will not be a problem run both togheter.

A bug:
!swapmenu don't work properly in 8+ slots.

2 good sugestions
1. Add a cvar that will do a scramble at the beginning of each new campaign; (it prevents same team playing always togheter, and votescramble players abuse)
2. Add a cvar that will block change team in all maps: 0 - disable; 1 - if the difference is +1 player; 2 - block change team first 60 seconds each map; 3 - block all situations. (it prevents players change team at the start os each map, because they can change at the start, and other player goes to spectate)

EDIT: If I put sm_blockteams in server.cfg, will block forever as if an admin do !blockteams every map. Can I put in server.cfg or will be a problem? Why appear this error "ConVarRef z_versus_wandering_density doesn't point to an existing ConVar"

The problem is to determine when all players are ingame and in their teams - it would basically have to be a ready up plugin. Why dont you request this for l4d loading or l4d ready up, then.
Also if players want to team stack and grief there is very little besides not playing with them you could do.


You can put sm_blockteams wherever you want to achieve this

Humm I habe a better idea.

Why don't put an automatcally vote scramble at the start of each campaing. So, the vote start after 30 seconds map changed, the vote take 15 seconds, then 45 seconds after the start get a scramble. (put yes in 1)

And please, you need block change team at least first 60 seconds each map, because when the players are loading, players change their team, go to the best one and get a slot from that player with slow pc, and this player got spec.

The slow PC players are the entire problem!! When you start a versus game from lobby Valve made it so that everyone has to wait for everyone to load, for a reason.

Let me tell you by experience 30 seconds after map change is WAY too soon. Only the fastest loaders are even ingame at that point. You have to keep in mind the server is usually faster than all players, and Sourcemod even more so.

Players taking 2 and more minutes after OnMapStarted are nothing unusual.

I wont deny what you wish for is possible, but it requires a crapton of code (see ready up), even MORE testing, and people will keep finding holes in it.

Can not be fixed team, version 2051

Install Current Sourcemod Snapshot of the 1.4 branch, Team can not be fixed

I also tried to do the sm_antirage command but it crashed the server after it killed all the survivors.

I personally think that plug-in issues, not lock the team, sm_antirage error. I used version is L4D2 2051, pirates! I hope you can help me to get! Thank you!

Is there any version of the plug-in for 2051? Can help me?

Swap team may not in, fixed team should not be used. Sm_antirage may not in!

Be more precise. What is happening. Are there errors logged. Are you sure it's this plugin.

There were no changes to Director or Valve teamcontrol functions, so i think its something you did to YOUR server.
