Thanks for the merged zombiereloaded.smx file. I can confirm the knockback seems to be fixed for me. Zombies no longer go flying and when shot at while crouching and also it does slow them down considerably when hit, which I like and remember from the CS:S ZM.

The knock back isn’t much though e.g. shot to the head or body only knocks back a foot at best BUT I think this is because I haven’t adjusted the knock back inside: csgo/addons/sourcemod/configs/zr/hitgroups.txt

The sounds all work still but for some reason in the new compiled zombiereloaded.smx file the ambient music no longer plays.


P.S. @ASCIISyaeZ I think "sm_cvar sv_pushaway_min_player_speed" is how fast a player must be moving in order to move an object by running into it. Not 100% on this but turning this up stupidly high stopped players from moving objects by running into them on my server.



EDIT: I just realized that the ZR built in knock back is disabled and so the hitgroups.txt will have no affect. Either way the knock back is fine for now, it knocks back a bit and slows them down... good enough for me.

If Jargon could recompile the files to include the ambient music in the zombiereloaded.smx I'd be very grateful!!


EDIT2: Scratch the bit avbout the ambient music not playing. it just started playing again and so I think it was something to do with my end. Everything is pretty much in a working state for me. Going to tweak my settings and might launch my server tonight!

That appears to be a limitation of Z:R and the fact you can only have one of each type of item (primary, secondary and grenade) set to auto-buy using zmarket. I tried to circumvent this by creating new "groups" for these weapons to reside in but got the same error.

I can confirm the "fixed" zombie models by kaem and morell work nice

with my posted package, besides knockback and maybe some speed tweaking, ZR works /decent/ on CS:GO

Can you even get your server up and running w/o ZR? If not, get to that point first.

Good guide but some explanation is too long i think, i have test but impossible to join the server, maybe a full pack must be more usefull to test
