Hi,
I have seen people add me on steam where they want to sell "VIP Packages" where all they have done is just combined a bunch of free plugins like, unusuals, colors, weapon related plugins and a bunch of others. And maybe they will have a menu for vip like !vip or something. But I guess even that could be taken from like helpmenu or something.
Is this allowed? I am sure you can't sell anything that is free.

It's their server. They can sell whatever they want. It's not like they'll stop even if it isn't allowed.

No you mis understood me.
They are selling the plugins themself, as a package for server owners.

They are sell the usage of them on their servers, not the actual code for the plugins. If not, then don't listen to them and block them

they have to provide you with the sourcecode aswell as you can sell your work but you can't sell the plugin without the sourcecode. Of course there will always be those doing it but you should really stay away from them.

Never download an SMX without access to the source code, could have a number of nasty stuff in it like back doors, etc.

Whenever you commission something, you should trust the author to make it just for you, and not release/resell it without your permission. This includes not using other's work.. Or when you do, give them explicit credit.
