Just realised:
Who made Mario? They could use the resize rage!
This is a great addition to FF2. I've got 2 bosses in the making, both with Phatrages
(Both are starwars, so maybe I'll make a third for a tag team with one of them!)

Entangle isn't part of the plugin.
I won't be adding any further granularity to the scope of a rage. If you want less players to be affected, then reduce the radius.

It seems the overlays appear at random times for only some players. I don't know what the connection is.

The loading screen overlay pops up and won't leave the players screen. This is fixed by casting uber on them but it will re-appear at the end of the round.

This stopped when I disabled the plugin.

Nothing major, just an error from a rage effect timer that was still running after the Boss died mid rage. Fixed. See OP.

It was a reply to Research.
Please provide more info about the circumstances when this happens, i.e. does it happen during a round with a Boss that doesn't use this plugin?

Your report of the particular issue that you are experiencing is the only instance I've heard of. So there might be other factors involved. I've certainly not experienced it on the server that I run with this plugin. I'm not sure what would make a script display the loading screen overlay.
