Wow if stopping is perminate then how do u get back to on without going through stop. also how can we unstop the plugins??

open up amxmodx/configs/pluginscfg.ini
and remove the lines of the plugin from there and change maps

huh? you cant "unstop" something...

meta unload amxx
meta load addons/amxmodx/dlls/amxmodx_mm.dll

this should load all your plugins from plugin.ini again

What about configs ?
It only present in source tarboll.
What about place it in addons tarbolls ?

Allright, since I'm using some big ESF plugins on mine AMX Mod X installation ( for few I don't have source, such as EvolutionX ), and I immedeately switched back to AMXX 1.0.

Why?

Let's go by order.
  • All mine plugins DO compile, and DO run fine, but several plugins as EvolutionX aren't working at all ( broken stuff, etc )
  • ESF module has been replaced by as I see, unworking stuff, which even doesn't have his own documentation.
  • AMXX just acts weird sometimes. On clean installation it banned just by himself WHOLE server. Don't ask me why or how. I just know we were all banned, NOTE, there weren't any plugins but default ones, and no anti-cheat things ( VAC doesn't support ESF, CD wasn't installed ).

There were also few things...
So I'll stick to 1.0 for a while...

I'm not trying to ruin ( or anything like that ) hard work of AMX Mod X team, just that in mine expirience all versions except 0.16 and 1.0 have many flaws. That's why I always backup and rename mine working AMXX installation before installing new one.

BTW, do 1.55 handle register_event different than 1.01 or 1.50?

In Natural Selection, i use something like

In 1.55, this didn't work....

The only things that changed are what you see in the changelog. register_event hasn't changed in years.

Stopping is permanent, so don't stop plugins. Pause them instead.

The ESF module was replaced by EVM because it relied on all sorts of animation stuff which wasn't really a good idea. Somehow I doubt it doesn't work because Corona tends to test their stuff very well. If you have a specific problem with it, that' what Bug Reports are for.

i updated to v1.55, but now i cant excute half of the options via thefront-end menu. options 1 to 4 (kick/ban/slay/team) are grayed now, but all other options look fine. i checked my users.ini and i have all the acces needed.

anyone knows why?
