this is what i need: the ability to restrict based on map.

if on an awp_map, turn awp restrictions off.
if on a bomb/defuse map, be able to limit the server to two awps per team.

final is: restrict weaps by map, and by quantity.

actually there's a few ways to do this.

There's actually a built in config system for maps (though it's extremely unreliable)
just place a cfg folder into the maps directory and name it equivelant to map name w/ a .cfg

There's also using another one of the administration plugins like mani, beetlesmod, etc. they allow for map specific configs.

Downloads fine for me. Are you using an older version of FireFox? I've had problems with zips in that case.

Try IE. If you still can't get it, PM me your email and I'll send it to you.

PS: It might not check for weapons obtained without using buy often enough for your purposes.

I'm working on an upated version that uses a completely different method. It won't contain menus, but I will release the source if anyone else wants to add menus they can.

you'll like the stripped down version L Duke is making. menus add more bulk to the mod, which results in more server lag, decreasing your server performance.

every menu you run on your server decreases the performance of your server. better to have a tight, clean mod, rather than a big sloppy menu driven thing.

thats why my 1.6 servers are so good, i don't run any of these:
  1. menufront.amxx Front-end for admin menus.
  2. cmdmenu.amxx Command menu for settings.
  3. plmenu.amxx Player menu commands (kick, ban, etc).
  4. telemenu.amxx Teleport Menu (fun module required).
  5. mapsmenu.amxx Maps menu (vote, changeleve, etc).

thats FIVE less plugins i run which dramatically increases performance.

k i understand that but i dont want to goto console and type rcon restrict weapon_whatever id rather have a menu come up for that. so i guess this plugin isnt for me thanx anyway.

here is what you want to do.

shut your server down.
now, connect with your ftp software and upload any weapon restrictions that you want in place.
restart your server.

now, your weapon restrictions are in place and you don't have to monkey with settings while you're actually in the server. further, if you have to access a menu in-game, you are being headshotted by your opponent.

menus are bad on two counts:
  1. you're being headshotted while you're looking at your menus in-game
  2. menus cause lag
