Release Notes for 12/9/2015
9 DEC 2015 -

[MISC]
Fixed exploits with the R8 Revolver, including being able to fire during freezetime or defusal, and the ability to hold the primary hammer back indefinitely.
– Fixed a disappearing smoke exploit.
– Fixed a timeouts-related exploit.
– Fixed competitive UI flickering at the end of rounds.
– Fixed a regression in logaddress_add to allow DNS hostname resolve.
– Fixed a rare game server crash after replay.
R8 Revolver now correctly shows up in weapon_fire events.
– Added map mode to game stats integration.

Instead of unapproving this, I'd love to see this continued in the sense that this will fix further bugs (I'm sure there are more), and also try to actually balance this weapon, because right now playing with it is ridiculous.

If you have any specific ideas on that matter I'd be happy to work on them, but I don't actually play CS:GO I just couldn't stand how absurdly silly these bugs are and wanted to issue a temporary patch.

Well, it's way too accurate and deals way too much damage.
If you care to join any csgo server, watch for 5 minutes and you'll see.

Few examples:
-Bodyshots at close range deal critical damage (practically replaces the zeus)
-Headshots deal more damage than awp headshots
-The primary fire is dead-accurate across d2 a long. (Keep in mind this is a revolver)
