Did you try manually running the command? That would rule out if the problem is coming from this plugin or Downtown.

Just to make sure.

I am running a 16 player server now.

Once there's 8 players, Steam matchmaking stops sending new random players my way, and the 8 remaining slots can only be used via direct connection (or via Steam Group).

I am using this workshop mod to have an 8 player lobby.

I talked to someone on Discord who modified that mod to support 12 players. I tried it, but it made no difference.

So my question is:

Is it possible to use 16 slots normally without the need for direct connection for the last 8, so random players fill up all 16 slots?
That's what I assumed this plugin does.

If this is possible, how?

Anyone?

I think it was me who send you the modified the 8 slots by increasing it to 12. If it doesnt work is because the matchmaking system believes is a vs server up to 8 survivors. But even if you override the slot size it will not send more players because the limit is in the matchmaking system.

Then only thing it could be done is to alter the number of places the matchmaking can see, so the server shows 6/8 players connected when is 10/20 so matchmaking keeps sending players there.

I don't know how to do it. And I don't know if that is even ethic or legal to do since you are starting to send fake data to Steam and other players.

hi, are you running a vs mode server or a coop? I'm trying to get 8players working for coop but with full reservation/matchmaking. Any ideas?

It would be nice that once the lobby reservation is manually removed on a server (it needs to be removed otherwise if it's "Friends Only" one ...), the matchmaking system to still send players to the unreserved server having playing players already ...
Is there any plugin doing this?

* Like reserving it as PUBLIC dedicated but without any lobby owner.
