hehe, I have an old Geforce FX 5200 non-sli or any advanced type of gfx card... 2.19 P4 cpu and only 512 in ram and I can still pull at least 250 fps when doing the same settings, I also am using a CRT monitor... my old shit pwns.

How do you hit above 1000fps? What settings? I'm eager to know, but I do play with vsync on.

i can't find any pics.. settings are all application controlled i hit 1000 with the 158.24 drivers but now i got 164.0 drivers so it's all messed up they get drivers out everyday and there is always buggs

I'm on 160.04 on all my computers. They all can't get pass 300.

I also have a 640 8800 GTS on my other computer and it still tops out at 300.

Well, just post a screenshot of your 1000fps in CS 1.6 then.

Why application controlled? CS 1.6 doesn't even have an option for AA. Mine's all override. 16xQ.

I bumped all the settings in Riva, all forced. :\

Probably the reason why is because SLI in Vista isn't that great. Although it has been promised eveyrtime a beta driver is out.
