umm if you will let me argue, half you guys don't know what you're talking about. These hosts are absolutely overselling. they probably stuff hundreds of you guys on one box and then lock you in with yearly contracts. you will in the long run get poor service and crappy hosts. have you ever wondered how they can pull 300GB of space out of their ass for you to use. my bet is that one box has about 1TB of space and that up to 300 of you guys share one box. That is how they make money.

rather than offer people crappy service there are rather smaller hosts who rent boxes and sell them for afforable prices.
