Hubs = OK.

Switches don't know how to share an internet connection to computers inside the home network, where switches cannot.

Iv'e had 3 routers, ive used both dyn and stat ip, forwarded ports, no firewall etc. still didnt work.

Then you have no idea how to work with routers... I suggest you educate yourself on the matter a little... Helps to have general info about this kinda stuff.
